Kenyans not shy to react after IEBC official claims violence likely in Likoni during elections

Dennis Makai Ingosi:

I don’t understand why IEBC is the one identifying these violence hotspots. Don’t we have security organs whose job is to do the mapping and ensure peace?

This could have come from the NIS, not the electoral commission.

Ben Evans:

This does not sound good. Warning non-locals of dire consequences if they don’t leave before the elections is serious and police should have moved in by now to put this madness to an end.

Kenyans are yearning for peace and co-existence and this is exactly what they must be assured of and given.

Chebusit Marindany Laboso:

It is sad that this is coming from an IEBC official, not a security officer.

They are looking for an excuse to populate the region with security officers who will then be used to suppress voter turnout.
