Youth warned against causing chaos ahead of elections

The Bishop of Meru Catholic Diocese, Bishop Salesius Mugambi has cautioned the youth against being exploited by politicians to cause chaos.

The Bishop also accused some politicians of paying the youth to disrupt their opponents’ meetings.

Speaking at Miruriri Catholic Church in Imenti South Sub-County, Mugambi urged the youth to shun violence and instead embrace peace.

“As the campaign season approaches, some politicians will start promoting violence by paying the youth to cause chaos at their opponents’ rallies,” Bishop Mugambi said.
