An uninvited guest who showed up at Uhuru's function and rendered the presidential security team guns useless

We all know that the president is one of the highly guarded people in this country. The presidential security team is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all the time the president is safe.

The presidential Security team was shocked when they spotted a green snake coiled on a pole on the dais at Kisumu State Lodge, minutes before President Uhuru arrived for the Drama Festival fete on Tuesday.

They had set everything in order ready for the function without realizing the strange creature just some few minutes before the President arrived to use the same dais. Thanks to one hawk eyed officer who noticed the snake that matched the green environment before it caused a commotion as the President addressed the public upon his arrival.

The presidential security team, which is usually armed to teeth, found the guns useless and used one of the oldest weapon known to mankind (a stick) to combat the enemy.

It is not easy for one to trespass at Statehouse owing to the tighter security provided, that is why many Kenyans were shocked two years ago when they heard that Kadhik Juma Walter had been arrested at the Statehouse compound on October 27 by the General Service Unit(GSU) police who were patrolling state house grounds.

Walter was arrested after he failed to convince the police on how he gained entry in a protected area.

Juma upon being interrogated by the policed said that it was not his first time to access state house but he had been there severally. According to him, he had been staying at the football pitch. “I sneaked in through an opening in the fence to find a place to sleep,” he said
