Okoth Obado protests Sh2m fine, vows to stay in ODM

Migori Governor Okoth Obado has faulted the decision by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party to fine him Sh2 million over political violence allegedly involving his supporters two weeks ago.

Mr Obado, who accused his rivals of playing dirty politics, maintained he had nothing to do with the chaos in Migori town where a body guard to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho was shot in the foot and scores injured.
