There were no surprises on day one of the Coast Region secondary schools Term One games. All defending champions were on a cruising start yesterday at Mazeras Boys High School, in Kwale County. East Africa girls’ basketball champions Kaya Tiwi were ruthless against Mama Ngina School, whom they defeated 120-11. Winnie Asathi and Berylene Aoko were joint top scorers with 18 points each, while Diana Wambuga scored two baskets for Mama Ngina.
