The immediate former Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Archbishop Eliud Wabukala is among six candidates shortlisted for the position of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) chairman.

The six were revealed on Friday by the Public Service Commission and are now expected to be interviewed to replace former anti-graft boss Philip Kinisu who resigned on August 31 after he was implicated in the Sh791 million NYS scandal.

Others on the shortlist are William Kirwa, Philemon Mwaisaka, Peter Ondieki, Rose Osoro and Erastus Iguna.

They are expected to appear for interviews on November 17 at Public Service Commission offices in Nairobi.
