Kenya has started to build an ultramodern centre at the University of Nairobi in memory of Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai.

President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday laid the foundation stone for the Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies at the university.
