Nine students to remain in custody at kapsokwony police station

Nine students  of Sendera Secondary school(two girls and seven boys),in  Kapsokwony, Mt. Elgon Constituency, Bungoma County  have been remanded for four days at Kapsokwony police station to allow police conduct further investigations on allegations of an  attempt to burn the school yesterday.

Speaking while passing the ruling, Kimilili resident magistrate said that they are supposed to be apprehended before the court within 24 hours but due to technical issues citing police investigations, they are still held at the police station.

He added that the nine students be remanded at Kapsokwony police station in separate cells.

This comes aftermath of several incidences of fire outbreaks in the whole country that have been witnessed lately.
