Police lob teargas to disperse demos as KANU joins anti-IEBC protests

Nairobi, Kenya: Police lobbed teargas to disperse CORD leaders and supporters who for the third time had camped outside Anniversary Towers. KANU led by Nick Salat also joined the anti-IEBC protestors. 

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has cited failure by relevant Government institutions to act on grievances against the electoral commission as one of the reasons they resorted to public protests.
