Hague: ICC to post ruling on Ruto case on its website

The Hague-based court will publish on its website a ruling on a motion filed by Deputy President William Ruto.

There will be no hearing April 5, 2016 as Mr Ruto and his co-accused Joshua Sang will not be required to be physically present during the session.

“Trial Chamber V (A) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) will file its decision on the requests for a “Judgment of acquittal” and “no case to answer motion”, submitted respectively by the Defence of William Samoei Ruto and Joshua arap Sang, on Tuesday April, 5 2016,” the court said in a statement.

This decision will be notified in writing and will be made public through a press release.
