Thousands of students attend Moi University Standard Digital Campus Tour

Eldoret, Kenya: Standard digital campus tour team amd Genius entertainment crew pitched camp at Moi University Eldoret on June 26th 2015 for the biggest campus event in Kenya.

Thousands of students thronged the student center to party and meet their favorite gospel artistes.

The event which started at 10pm saw big names in the gospel industry perform to the excitement of the students.

Male artist of the year Bahati aka mtoto wa mama of the hit single Barua brought the crowd to its feet with his performance.

Gloria Muliro’s performance wowed the crowd with many singing along to her lyrics.

LJay Maasai left the crowd drooling for more as he and his dancers gave an electrifying performance.

Janet Atieno, Pitson and Daddy Owen culminated the concert leaving the attendance yearning for more.

At the decks were DJ GJO, DJ Touch, Dan the DJ and the mix genius DJ Sadic, who brought the crowd to their feet with their mixes.

The days MC was Dr. Ofweneke and Hypeman Hype ballo led the crowd with a variety of dance moves and humorous punch lines.

Bonafide dancers entertained the crowd with their animated moves.

Amid electric performances, the best writers were feted in what was the 10th edition of the Standard Digital campus tour.

Brian Guserwa was the man of the day as he won the best writers award taking home Sh5000 and a gift pack, Eddy Ashioya and Vivian Kisaka took second and third prize respectively. 

There was a moment of silent in remembrance of the Garissa University attack victims and survivors who were relocated to Moi University to continue with their studies.

The concert which begun at 10pm on Friday ended at 4am on Saturday. 

Standard Digital Campus tour has being to more than 8 campuses since 2013.
