Maasai elders offer to reconcile fighting leaders

Maasai elders have now moved to reconcile feuding political leaders in a move aimed at ending the wrangles that have bedeviled the county.

The elders said the ongoing supremacy battle between Governor Samuel Tunai and Senator Stephen ole Ntutu, MPs Korei Lemein (Narok South), Patrick Ntutu (Narok West), Johana Ng'eno (Emurua Dikirr) and Narok North’s Moitalel Kenta was a setback to development.

Maasai Council of Elders (Narok) Chairman Kasaine ole Esho reiterated that the two factions should end their differences and come together in the interests of the electorate.
