CORD cautioned on Ruto

Jubilee leaders from Isiolo and Marsabit counties have accused the Opposition of politicising the acquittal of President Uhuru Kenya by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The leaders said CORD wants to create rift between Jubilee partners-TNA and URP.

Tana and Athi River Development Authority chairman, Abdul Bahari (TNA, Isiolo), his National Health Insurance Fund counterpart Muhamud Ali (URP, Marsabit), Isiolo Woman Representative Tiyyah Galgalo (TNA) and Saku MP Ali Rasso (URP) yesterday separately called on the Opposition not to drive a wedge between Uhuru and Ruto.

'Opposition is looking for votes using the dropping of charges against the President. CORD wants to put a wedge between TNA and URP. This can't work,'' said Mr Bahari during a fundraiser in Isiolo town on Sunday.
