Tales of sweeping romance, mysterious secrets, ostentatious parties, new worlds with their strange cultures, blood rushing safaris . . . all urged on by exaggerated innuendo and rumours. I am particularly drawn to 20th Century Kenya dreaming and recreating it with the same marvel early pioneering eyes did.
