A body of a middle aged woman found dumped near a club in Nakuru town

A body of a middle aged woman was found dumped near a club in Nakuru town on Tuesday night.

The deceased is believed to have been raped and brutally killed before being dumped at the area.

Her body found by members of the public had bruises on the head and face with blood flowing from her private parts.

According to members of the public who requested anonymity, the woman might have been killed by unknown criminals elsewhere and later dumped at the area at wee hours of the night.

Her body was taken to Nakuru Municipal mortuary for postmortem while police officers commence investigations to arrest the suspects behind the killings.

Nakuru OCPD Bernard Kioko said the deceased might have been killed following love triangle.

"The body is believed to have been dumped by unknown criminals who are still at large. Police have commenced investigations to arrest the suspects though the killing is suspected to have been caused by be love triangle," said Kioko.

He said security chiefs are on alert to contain insecurity in the town the town and are conducting patrols during day and night.

Incidences of mysterious killing by unknown criminals in Nakuru County are on the rise.

In the last two months bodies of five people including three school girls and two middle aged men who went missing were found brutally killed and dumped in different locations.

Over the weekend, another body of a middle aged boda boda operator within Nakuru town was found dumped at Rhonda estate by unknown thugs still at large.

Another body of a 40 year old man was found dumped outside a club in Tayari village Molo Sub County last Saturday.

The deceased Peter Lonyapit a lorry turn boy left his home for work but he was found lying dead by people who were heading to the club.

Nakuru Deputy Commissioner Thomas Sankei said the County is organizing security meetings to contain insecurity incidences in the county.

Sankei has also called on members of the public to volunteer information to police officers to hasten investigations.

"Security chiefs are on alert by intensifying patrols to arrest suspects indulging in criminal incidences because rate of crime had reduced," said Sankei.
