Libya's Supreme Court rules election of PM violates constitution

TRIPOLI: Libya's Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the election of Prime Minister Ahmed Maiteeq violated the constitution, state television said.

Last month, parliament elected Maiteeq in a chaotic vote which had been disputed by some lawmakers and judicial experts.
