Former Miss Kenya, Juliet Achieng, shares about her new role as wife and mother

Juliet Achieng and familyJuliet met her husband — Joel Darche — when he came to Kenya in 2007. They met at a club on his second night in town.

She recalls the magic moment like it was yesterday: “When people say everything stops when you meet your better half, it is not a joke. It happened to me. I was shy when we met. We didn’t talk because I had company but when my friend left to use the ladies, we began talking and the rest is history,” she says.
