TID ‘sneaks’ out of Nairobi

Bongo artiste Khalid Mohamed aka T.I.D left the country on Thursday evening even as paparazzi sought him. The singer, who has been in the limelight since his one-year jail sentence, was in the country recording new songs. The numbers will be part of his soon-to-be launched Prison Voice 657. TID’s visit was treated as a top secret by his host. "Prison life is unbearable. I learned the hard way. The experiences I got humbled me. I have changed and I am out to prove to the world that the old TID is no more," he told our snitches. And soon after leaving Nairobi,

reports have it that TID has ditched the girlfriend who got him into the club brawl leading to his imprisonment. The singer is now dating a different woman and has indicated that they will be tying the knot soon.

The musician has in the past worked closely with popular radio presenter/singer and comedian Walter Nyambane. The actor left for Tanzania in mid November and is said to have visited government offices and Segerea Prison seeking his release. And in December, TID, who was supposed to serve a one-year jail term, was released following a presidential pardon on petty offenders. It is also understood that Nyambane has an hand in TID’s latest release Siwezi.
