Education Permanent Secretary Belio Kipsang’ has said the Education Ministry will continue streamlining the sector despite the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) calling for a recall of last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.
Dr Kipsang’ defended the credibility of the KCSE results, saying the ministry had invested a lot of resources in restructuring the exam system, and the results were a true reflection of the ability of the 574,125 candidates who sat the exam.
