Youth empowerment, education, employment key to future development of Kenya

Young people are increasingly recognized as the best agents for change because they place a greater hope in their power to shape our future. However in most African countries, majority of young people are trapped in poverty, with few opportunities to learn or to earn a decent living.

In Kenya 65% of the total population are young people below the age of 30 years making them the majority in this country. Kenya is a youthful nation and one would expect her to develop at a faster rate but this is not happening.
