'County to work with church'

Kirinyaga County Governor Joseph Ndathi has reaffirmed his commitment to work with the church in matters of health services to the people.

Mr Ndathi said provision of quality health services to the residents was a priority hence the huge budget allocated to the health docket this financial year.

He told residents to expect better health services especially now that his government is partnering with the area Church that has initiated health projects.

Speaking at Kagio Anglican Church grounds when he flagged off a 20-km walk by the faithful and well-wishers aimed at raising Sh6 million for the construction of a modern women and children ward in Kerugoya town, the governor encouraged public-private partnerships in matters development.
