Antonio Conte has issued a response to reports that Chelsea are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

The Gunners talisman has been linked with a sensational move to Stamford Bridge after reports in England suggested he had made astronomical wage demands to the north Londoners.

And Chelsea's boss has now issued a response to the rumour, telling reporters at a press conference: "I don't think it is right to talk about other players and other teams.

"It is not right and we are totally focused on the next game.

"January and next season are very far away for us. It is important not to talk about other players because it is a lack of respect. We have four games before January. It's important to be focused on these games.

Wenger had denied that Arsenal would sell Alexis to their rivals, with the former Barcelona star having been in superb form in the 2016-17 season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions for the club.
