Convicted murderer reveals plan to kill Zlatan Ibrahimovic

A convicted murderer in Sweden has revealed he tried to shoot Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Peter Mangs, known as the Malmo street shooter, was implicated in 15 shootings in the city between 2003 and 2010.

He killed one person, and was found guilty of seven other attempted murders.

Mangs, now behind bars, has released a book about his life, in which he chillingly reveals he returned home to get a gun after spotting the PSG striker's car parked illegally.

A known xenophobe, Mangs said the parking was "typical Balkan behaviour" referencing Zlatan's eastern European heritage.

Thankfully, Ibrahimovic had driven off by the time the killer returned with his pistol.

“I thought there would be a proper hullabaloo in the media if the gent in question were to be shot,” Mangs wrote in the book.
