Kenya Handball Federation appoints national team coaches

The road to Brazzaville for the All African Games later this year has commenced for handball as the Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) appointed a technical bench that will lead the national handball teams for the qualifiers in Addis Ababa Ethiopia from 7-13 of next Month. 

According to a presser sent to media houses on Tuesday evening, Strathmore coach Peter Mwathi and Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) James Kinyua will handle the men’s team with regional and local club women champions, Nairobi Water Queens’ coach Jack Sandan and Africa Nazarene University’s Francis Pere will handle the women’s team. 

All these four coaches were involved in the selection of the provisional squads with training expected from Thursday at the Nyayo National Stadium handball court. 

Meanwhile, the national junior championship dubbed the Eastern Open will take place this weekend at Kangaru Boys High School, Embu. 

The winners from this championship will represent the country in the forthcoming Patille  Cup  in  Sweden in  July Winners  will represent  the  country  in  the  forthcoming.
