Man United set to make transfer offer to sign Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben

Manchester United's expected spending could see them land Arjen Robben, according to the Daily Mail.

Louis van Gaal reportedly wants the Bayern Munich man at Old Trafford as he bids to turn United into 'a new Real Madrid'.

Reports suggest that Van Gaal wants Robben back with him after proving to be a successful part of his summer World Cup squad while in charge of the Netherlands in Brazil.

At 30-years-old, Robben still has a couple of years at his peak in him.

The Mail also report Diego Godin, Dani Alves, Mats Hummels and Kevin Strootman are on the transfer target wishlist.
