Marcus Rashford signs bumper new Manchester United

Teen sensation Marcus Rashford has trebled his wages after signing a new deal worth £5.2million with Manchester United.

United and England striker Rashford has seen his salary rocket from £7,500-a-week to £25,000-a-week after penning the new deal until 2020, with the option for a further year.

New United boss Jose Mourinho wanted Rashford tied down to a new deal and also moved to secure the future of young defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, who has also signed up until 2020.

Rashford has been a revelation for United, scoring seven goals in 18 games since making his debut in the Europa League in February.

The 18-year-old scored on his England debut in Friday's 2-1 win over Australia and now seems certain to go to Euro 2016 as part of Roy Hodgson's squad.

After committing his immediate future to United, Rashford said: "I'm delighted to have signed a new contract. I've always been a Manchester United fan, so to be playing in the first team really is a dream

come true.

"I'm grateful for having the chance to prove myself. To be able to play football at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family."
