MERU: Governor Peter Munya has claimed Senator Kiraitu Murungi sabotaged the just-concluded governors' conference. The governor said the senator did not want all the credit to go to him (Munya). "There was a lot of sabotage. The more than 6,000 delegates brought a lot of money to Meru traders and it beats logic why someone was out to hinder that," said Munya.
The governor claimed the senator had requested his colleagues not to go to Meru for the conference.
