After winning this year's edition of the Big Brother reality TV show, Idris, the 22-year old Tanzanian photographer, confessed how he nearly pulled out of the competition thanks to an exclusive Pulse exposé.
A month to the kick-off of the show, we revealed that the then-little-known Idris had been picked to represent the country.
"Goodness me, I thank you for making me popular even though you almost got me kicked out of BBA," he said, responding to the Pulse editor's questions just after winning the Sh26million prize money.
Last Friday, we had tipped him to win the competition, on top of accurately analysing that Nigeria's Tayo would come in second.
