Amileena, Calvo Mistari album launch

Songstress Amileena and hip hop star Calvo Mistari will both be launching their albums during a concert slated for Alfajiri, Nairobi, this Sunday. The event dubbed Musicology will see Amileena launch her self-titled debut album Amileena while Calvo Mistari will be launching Mwanaume ni Effort. Others lined up for the big show include Octave Band, Bobby Mapesa, J’Mani, GKon, Opips, DJ Nruff, DJ Crossfade and Shiko Kaitani among others. The show starts at 2pm.

Sarakasi Hosts Sawa Sawa Festival

The 8th edition of the musical and spoken word event that is the Sawa Sawa Festival goes down at Saraka Dome this weekend starting tonight. The festival promises to be a thoroughly thrilling one with the programme featuring a VIP party and as well as a full day event the following day. DJ Joe Mfalme and Kalamashaka will headline the festival. There is no cover charge.

The annual Safaricom International Jazz music festival hits the entertainment for another round.
