On Sauti Sol’s EMA win
Congratulations to the group on their win. They represent Kenyan music in the African and global industry and this is a big plus for us.
On groupies
Groupies should get a life. They will hang out with celebs just to be in the limelight, but what they tend to forget is that there is life after fame.
On the MCSK royalties saga
The MCSK event was meant to be for Kenyans and that is why many artistes didn’t sit well with the rumour that an artiste from outside the country would be headlining our own show. Where did the rumoured Sh1.5m set aside to book Diamond go, since he did not show up?
On football
I am not much of a football fan.
On beefing in the industry
Beefing does not help but then again this is showbiz. Sauti Sol won because of unity with other artistes who I believe voted for them. Artistes in the industry should be one and avoid beefing.
