On one of my out-of-town assignments, I was booked into a five-star hotel and having grown up in 'shagz', the luxury I was being treated to was just too good. I had two beds, a number of towels and an assortment of bathroom shower items at my disposal.
During bath time, little did I know that I was supposed to use showering jell so I ended up using soap as that is what I was used to doing back at home. I thought all the other jelly looking stuff in the little containers was lotion.
After dressing up, I picked one of the bottles and smeared it on my face as well as my body as you would body lotion. I then walked out to join the team of journalists only to feel my face cracking after a while. It was then when someone said that someone smelled like shampoo. All eyes were on my shiny, cracking face. Lotion indeed!
