Get it from us; it is no longer a rumour, gospel celebrity couple of singer Chantelle and J Blessing is expecting their first baby, a year after getting married.
“There is nothing to go private about, some things are just too personal and we are not the kind of people who like exposing our private matters in public. But it is true we are expecting a baby.
It has been months now,” J Blessing told Pulse exclusively from Washington DC where he is taking his exams. He will also be carrying some business ventures before returning home early next month.
“Chantelle is a media shy girl and it is not that she is hiding from the media. She is happy. My duty as a husband is to protect her from those who sometimes propagate falsehoods about us. The truth is that the media has been good to us and we will invite you at home for a celebration when the right time comes,” he added.
J Blessing, an award-winning Kenyan producer and singer, who has since quit singing to concentrate on their business venture, got hitched last year after getting consent from their preacher parents. Months later, Chantelle got born-again and ditched her secular music career.
“We are happy but private couple. Besides, there is nothing to gossip about. Married people make babies,” J Blessing concluded.
