The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards(AMVCA)took place Saturday night in Lagos Nigeria. In an event spiced by big performances from Africa greatest artistes; Flavour; Davido among others, the AMVCA was a celebration of dreams that have in long term come true to many.
Kenya had received more than six nominations, with Ian Mbugua leading the pack of the nominees.
But as it would be at the end of the night, Nairobi Half Life managed to bag several awards: Best Cinematographer awarded to Christian Almesberger; Best Art Director awarded to Barbra Menesh; Best Make-Up, Elayne Okaya and Best Lighting Designer awarded to Mohamed Zain.
