Woman shames husband in front of in-laws after been caught cheating

Counties

A man and wife in Kisumu have been left with egg on their faces over claims of infidelity.

In a tantalising tale, the couple who had been married for eight years, had to call it quits after it emerged that the wife, a nurse at a leading health centre in town, was cheating on her husband with a doctor colleague.

The wife sensationally cited unsatisfactory bedroom performance by her husband as the reason she had turned to her workmate.

The couple were living blissfully in Okore estate until the said doctor found a house nearby, possibly to be closer to his lovebird for regular, convenient trysts.

The husband had all along suspected the two to be in an intimate relationship, and when the man moved in close by, his suspicions began taking shape.

On several occasions, the husband, who left his well-paying job to run a business, had been notified by neighbours that things were not well with his marriage and that he should investigate the matter as they suspected something fishy was ongoing between his wife and her doctor friend.

The doctor, he was told, would come to his house whenever he was away and that at times he would stay overnight when he was out of town. The man of the house, who had many trips outside Kisumu town, would sometimes even spend two to three days away from home on his business-related trips.

Unannounced

One day as the love birds were enjoying themselves, the man of the house came back unannounced and found the two in a compromising position. So it was true: the doctor had been eating from his private pot.

The two men exchanged blows and in the process the doctor sustained a deep cut on one of his eyes and was rushed to a private hospital to have the wound stitched.

The man and his wife remained in the house and intense fighting ensued between them, during which the woman bit her husband’s right arm in self-defense.

The matter was later brought before the woman’s kinsmen, who queried the woman, specifically why she disrespected her matrimonial bed.

“An nyaru ni oola, pok kata higni ariyo orumo chakre ne yalwa kae to sani kendo koro osechakre gi laktar moro, nee uru kaka okayo lweta, an koro aseol kode (It’s hardly two years since we were here before you to sort out issues of infidelity, we are here again. Your daughter is at it again with another doctor, I am getting tired of this marriage, look how she has bitten my hand),” lamented the man.

But the woman dropped a bomb shell soon after the man finished his complaint. She accused her husband of neglecting his bedroom obligations, and even claimed that the man treats her as if she were his sister, never performing his conjugal duties. She made it clear that would rather separate.

Embarassed

“An wuon Otieno ni oloka mana nyaminingi e ot, tinde ka obiro to orange korot e wii otanda, sani dweche auchiel ka pok waloso kode, nyaka amany kama atieke riyo (It’s now six months since he touched me last, he should tell you the root cause of our problem. I have needs and when he fails to rise to the occasion then I have to look for an alternative to satisfy my needs),” said the nurse boldly.

The old men looked at each other in dismay, each one suggesting that the couple be left to reach an agreement on their own and live peacefully.

The man remained silent and did not attempt to dispute his wife’s claims. He, however, could not take the embarrassment and left shortly afterwards, going straight back to his house where he hired some youths to remove the roof of the house.

This was meant to leave the woman roofless - literally. He then packed his things and left.

The nurse has since had to move house to another estate where she is sure no one heard of the drama between her and her estranged husband.  The story, however, still dominates talk back in Okore estate.
