Last Saturday evening was no fun for senator Sonko’s daughters. His three daughters led by the eldest, Saumu Mbuvi, were at the Carnivore Simba Salon where they expected to attend the Miss JKUAT Karen Campus beauty pageant.
Unfortunately, the two younger daughters, Salma and Sandra, were stopped at the entrance and denied access because they were underage.
Saumu had to sneak her little sisters into the washrooms where they patiently waited for their driver to come and pick them.
Saumu, however, stayed on to enjoy the show.
A student at JKUAT Karen Campus, her schoolmates described her as soft-spoken and humble. “She is a very reserved student.
At first, when she joined the institution, she did not want us to know that she is Sonko’s daughter. Even now, she does not take advantage of her father’s position to earn favours,” one of her schoolmates who preferred to remain anonymous told Heads Up.
This is not the first time Saumu has been mentioned in showbiz circles.
Last year, her father warned comedian Chipukeezy against flirting with his daughter.
She was once spotted posing for selfies with gospel rapper and entrepreneur Holy Dave.
