Nigerian firm to host branding, etiquette event in Nairobi

A Nigerian consultancy firm will host a key forum in Nairobi next month. Poise Nigeria Ltd specialises in making executives become invaluable ‘brands’ and the event themed ‘Etiquette and Lifestyle Branding’ will be held on October 9, 2015, at Safari Club, Nairobi.

Poise Kenya CEO Florence Oile said the event hinged on total personality development, aims at transforming and refining individuals to positively impact their organisations and make great professionals.

Speaking in Nairobi yesterday ahead of the event, she said business and government professionals must be seen to fit the profile of their portfolio because projecting the right personality and managing perception is as important as being competent.

“Savvy professionals know the part, act the part and look the part. That’s because they exude professional presence, an aura of leadership which oozes out from their personality. Business lifestyle is not just about being good at your job,’ she said.

The conference will discuss topics on personality projection, professional comportment skills, manners in business intelligence and business etiquette.

The event targets business executives, captains of industry, senior officers and managers who desire to project themselves with skills and suit social and business situations. Among those to grace the occasion will be Mavi Sokia Isibor, the founder and current Group Chief Executive Officer of Poise Nigeria Ltd.
