Airtel Kenya has extended its community sustainability programme to Kajiado with the launch of initiatives at Kipeto Primary School.

The company has commissioned a water project, which is expected to provide clean water to the school to enhance living standards for the students with improved hygiene and health in pursuit of academic excellence.

The company has also facilitated the connection of the school to electricity. The school also received two energy saving cooking stoves to help prepare food for the over 500 students.

The event was graced by Kajiado County Governor Dr David Ole Nkedianye, Airtel Kenya Board of Directors Chairman Dr Titus Naikuni and Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi. Through its partner Medanta Africare, Airtel also hosted a free medical clinic at the school where pupils, teachers and  the community benefited.
