Betting firm Betway has launched a talent search programme where former international Dennis Oliech and top coaches Francis Kimanzi and Salim Ali will help in identifying the best.

The exercise will take place between October 15 and October 30 with the company saying a total of 1,600 players will initially be involved.

 “The 1,600 aspiring footballers will test their skills under the watchful eyes of local and international scouts as they compete for a place in the final 16 who will attend a specialised training camp.

“From this final group of 16, one lucky footballer will win the grand prize, an opportunity to train at West Ham United,” said a statement from the company.
