Strathmore University’s Scorpions defeated Vikings 1-0 in a Kenya Hockey Union women’s league match yesterday at City Park.

Judy Apondi scored Scorpions’ all-important goal in the 17th minute. Despite bagging the crucial points, Strathmore coach Meshack Senge was a disappointed man, saying his players put up a poor show.
