Kanu candidate blasts Jubilee

Former Bureti MP Paul Sang has castigated President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto for overseeing runaway corruption. Speaking after being endorsed by at least 2,000 Bureti teachers after holding their branch elections, Sang claimed that Jubilee leaders are pushing the country to the edge of collapse by condoning plundering of public resources.

"Jubilee Government is sweeping the country towards the dustbin. Corruption is openly practised in high offices. Unless the president and his deputy clean up the system, Kenya is going to be a place where no values are respected," he said.

The Kanu candidate for the Kericho senatorial race pointed out that Uhuru and Ruto ascended to power on the platform of youthfulness and innovation but have since failed to rise up to the occasion.

"The Jubilee leaders presented themselves as a duo with great ideas, but it turns out they do not have a clue about anything because many things are going wrong and there is lack of consultation in the Government," said Sang.
