The management of a leading Westlands club is extracting CCTV footage to help police trace a popular singer who is said to have hit a reveler on the head with a beer bottle before escaping.
The singer, a Nairobi-based rapper who is said to be dating a radio girl, barged his way passed security guards and took off in his car after the ugly incidence that saw the victim admitted to hospital.
The two are said to have had a bitter verbal exchange over a woman when the controversial singer lost his cool and hit his rival on the head. It was after he noticed the extent of the injury he had caused that he panicked and took off.
According to sources, the man suffered serious facial injuries and was rushed to hospital.
“We will catch up with him as our CCTV cameras are working,” the club’s head of security told MondayBlues.
