House team wants two ward bosses interdicted

Kiambu, Kenya: The Assembly Committee on Public Service and Administration yesterday recommended the interdiction of two ward administrators in Githunguri sub-county.

Komothai Ward Administrator Peter Njau and his Ngewa counterpart Mugo Kihara are accused of planning a demonstration against Ward Representative Karungo wa Thang'wa.

They are alleged to have bribed boda boda operators to demonstrate in Kwamaiko shopping centre and accuse Thang'wa of fighting Governor William Kabogo. The two were allegedly video-taped bribing the riders and the recording was forwarded to the County Secretary for Public Service and Administration Wilson Marwa.
