Not even allegations of missing out on an out-of-competition doping test will stop embattled world record holder Wilson Kipsang from nurturing music talents within North Rift region.
Heads Up has learnt that Kipsang has partnered with Afrika Mashariki Fest Youth Platform to host Ugandan singer Chameleone on December 20 for a music extravaganza at Keelu Resort in Iten. This is part of Chameleone’s Kenya tour, which starts from Nakuru and ends in Kisumu.
He says that apart from running in the world, he should not miss a home-opportunity to nurture other talents.
“I have done my part by nurturing young athletes now I have to extend the same to music, that is why Chameleone is coming,” said Kipsang in his office.
Meanwhile, Kipsang, has accused Athletics Kenya of breach of privacy with “malicious target” to tarnish his name for being the head of the Professional Athletics Association of Kenya (PAAK) that is trying to fight for the rights of athletes in the country.
