Kenya: Pioneer beach operators have graduated after intensive training. The move aims to equip them with skills and knowledge to conduct their businesses on the seafront, in a programme supported by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation’s ST-EP Foundation and the Travel Foundation. It is being implemented by the Kenya Coast Tourist Association.

Mombasa County Governor Hassan Joho who officiated the event at Butterfly Pavillion, Mombasa, said the county government will support the project to train more 500 beach traders.
