JERUSALEM: Israel has joined the international effort to stem the Ebola epidemic sweeping across West Africa, the Hebrew-language Yediot Aharonot reported on Sunday.
Doctors from the country's leading medical institutions and other health care professionals, among them infectious disease experts, are being sent to Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Liberia to treat infected patients and help prevent spread of the deadly virus.
