NYANDARUA: Police have recovered over 400 bags of fertiliser that were stolen from a National Cereals and Produce Board depot in Nyahururu two weeks ago.

The loot was recovered in Haraka village, Kinangop by sleuths who had travelled from Nyahururu and Njabini Police Stations in an operation that saw the main suspect escape.

Of the 477 bags stolen from the depot, 413 were recovered as the officers embarked on a manhunt for the escaped suspect said to be a well known trader in the area.
