Kenya: The 37 Chinese nationals accused of operating an illegal cyber-hub in the country were yesterday slapped with new charges at a Nairobi court.

They were charged with engaging in organised crime and conspiring to commit a felony on December 1, 2014 at Runda estate house number 46 in Gigiri, Nairobi.

They appeared before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Enock Cherono and denied the charges.

The accused had earlier been charged with using radio communication apparatus without a licence from the Communication Authority of Kenya. They were remanded until February 18 when the case will be mentioned.
