A video of a married man being battered by his ‘mpango wa kando’ and her female companions has gone viral on social media.
The man is in the company of four women in a tiny room at a location said to be Mombasa.
Each woman took a turn to hit the man who is sat on by the ‘main’ lady.
The nine-minute video was recorded by one of the ladies who threatened to send it to his wife.
From the recording, it appears that the man had tried to seduce one of his ‘mpango wa kando’s friends. “Don’t ever try messing with friends. We are like sisters,” one of the women is heard admonishing the man.
The women only let him go when he started screaming and wailing as they stepped on his private parts. He is seen begging to be given back his phone and identity card.
The video comes months after male MPs abandoned their women colleagues in the august House during a debate on a Bill to protect victims of domestic violence.
Male MPs termed the Protection Against Domestic Violence Bill as a threat to the family unit.
A month ago, Kenya’s bar association called for the prosecution of men who publicly strip women because of the way they dress.
