Daddy Owen unveils his girlfriend

Nairobi, Kenya: You have been listening to all the hullabaloo about award-winning gospel singer Daddy Owen’s dating ways.

Early last year, he was linked to gorgeous actress Tanya. The two were said to be dating and even after we approached the Mbona singer, he did not seem to mind the buzz. He said Tanya was a nice friend, leaving the media to speculate the more.

But that was then. Since, the singer seems to have settled for another beauty, Faridah Wambui, with whom he showed up during his elder brother’s wedding last Saturday.

You could have spotted them together before but this time round, there was no hiding that they are indeed an item.

Daddy Owen seemed rather busy throughout the ceremony and Faridah remained easy, in the company of family friends.

At one point the Pulse paparazzi requested Faridah to pose for a photo with comedian Eric Omondi, a move that caused a slight drama as Daddy Owen sprung into the picture and intervened.

From the news we are gathering, the two are set to wed late this year. And still while at it, in the bridal party was Joyce Mwatia. Joyce is Rufftone’s younger sister. We also hear she wants to move out of the nest.

Big bro, Rufftone, had clearly blocked several ambitions it seems.
