Nairobi, Kenya: The Supreme Court is sitting for the second Tuesday for the pre-trial conference of presidential petitions filed against election of Uhuru Kenyatta.

The court is hearing several applications made by parties.

The Supreme Court Judges are Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, Justice Phillip Tunoi, Justice Mohammed Ibrahim, Justice Smokin Wanjala, Justice Jackton Ojwang and Justice Njoki Ndungu.

On Monday, the judges ordered a fresh scrutiny of form 34 from all 33,400 polling stations and re-tallying of presidential votes in 22 polling stations

One of the petitions has been filed by Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He is seeking several declarations from the Supreme Court, among them those that could, if granted, force fresh presidential elections through invalidation of the recent poll.
